Faisal Hasrimy, AP, M.AP, dan istri, Selvi Ananda, meninjau Gerbang Tol Tanjung Pura, Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara, pada Selasa (24/12/2024). Peninjauan ini dilakukan untuk memastikan kelancaran mobilitas masyarakat selama libur Natal dan Tahun Baru (Nataru) 2024/2025, sekaligus mendukung perayaan Nataru yang aman dan lancar.
Dalam kunjungannya, Wapres Gibran menegaskan pentingnya memastikan arus lalu lintas lancar selama periode liburan. “Intinya kita tidak ingin ada kemacetan ataupun penumpukan kendaraan pada saat Nataru,” ujarnya.
Gerbang Tol Tanjung Pura merupakan bagian dari jaringan Jalan Tol Binjai–Langsa yang berfungsi strategis sebagai penghubung antara Medan, Binjai, Langkat, hingga Pangkalan Brandan. Infrastruktur ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan konektivitas sekaligus mempersingkat waktu perjalanan masyarakat.
Kepala Balai Besar Pelaksana Jalan Nasional (BBPJN) Sumut, Stanley, menyampaikan bahwa Jalan Tol Tanjung Pura–Pangkalan Brandan telah melewati Uji Laik Fungsi (ULF) pada akhir November 2024. Jalan tol ini akan difungsionalkan selama periode Nataru untuk mempermudah akses masyarakat, dengan waktu tempuh Binjai–Pangkalan Brandan menjadi hanya 40 menit dari sebelumnya 2 jam.
“Tol ini mempersingkat waktu perjalanan masyarakat hingga 1 jam 20 menit. Fasilitas rest area dengan arsitektur khas Melayu, Aceh, dan Batak Karo juga siap melayani pengendara,” ungkap Stanley.
Jalan tol ini dilengkapi fasilitas seperti toilet, area parkir, UMKM, masjid, food court, klinik, dan bengkel kendaraan. Kendaraan juga dapat melintasi jalur crossing pipa gas alam dengan aman berkat perhitungan teknis dan aspek keamanan yang matang.
Pj. Bupati Langkat, H.M. Faisal Hasrimy, menegaskan kesiapan daerahnya dalam menyambut momen Nataru. “Kami telah berkoordinasi dengan semua pihak terkait, termasuk kepolisian dan dinas perhubungan, untuk memantau titik rawan kemacetan serta menyiapkan langkah antisipasi,” ujarnya.
Faisal juga menyampaikan apresiasinya atas perhatian Wakil Presiden dan dukungan pemerintah pusat terhadap infrastruktur di Langkat. “Kami berkomitmen memberikan pelayanan terbaik bagi masyarakat yang melintasi Langkat, khususnya pada momen Nataru,” tambahnya.
Turut hadir dalam peninjauan tersebut, Danrem 022/PT Kolonel Inf. Tagor Rio Pasaribu, SE, Dandim 0203/LKT Letkol Arh FX Ibnu Hardiyanto, SE, Kapolres Langkat AKBP David Triyo Prasojo, SH, SIK, M.Si, Kajari Langkat Yuliarni Appy, SH, MH, Kadis PU Provsu Mulyono, dan Sekdakab Langkat H. Amril, S.Sos, M.AP.
Dengan rampungnya jaringan tol ini, Langkat kini memiliki konektivitas yang lebih baik dari Medan hingga Pangkalan Brandan, memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap kelancaran mobilitas masyarakat dan peningkatan perekonomian daerah selama periode liburan akhir tahun.(dave)
