Rabol.id–Langkat: Plt Bupati Langkat H. Syah Afandin, SH menghadiri Pekan Olahraga Kabupaten (PORKAB) Langkat Tahun 2023, bertempat di Margaslima Stabat, Rabu 06 Desember 2023.

PORKAB Langkat tahun 2023 dimulai pada tanggal 06- 12 Desember 2023. Diikuti atlet-atlet dari seluruh kecamatan se Kabupaten Langkat.

Cabang olahraga yang diperlombakan yaitu catur, atletik, eSports, tenis meja, taekwondo, panahan, bola volly.

Laporan panitia pelaksana PORKAB Langkat tahun 2023, H Tengku Paris. Ia menjelaskan ORKAB merupakan event olahraga Kabupaten yang dilaksanakan setiap 3 tahun sekali.

Ini merupakan langkah awal untuk titik prestasi, dan pembinaan untuk membawa kabupaten Langkat untuk event nasional dan internasional.

“PORKAB Langkat ini sebagai salah satu ajang seleksi mempersiapkan diri menuju pekan olahraga Sumatera Utara 2024,” sebutnya.

“Saya berharap apapun hasil yang didapatkan, raihlah prestasi dan junjung tinggi sportifitas. Ucapan terimakasih dan apresiasi serta penghargaan kepada Plt. Bupati Langkat dan pemerintah Kabupaten Langkat telah membantu mensukseskan acara ini,” tambahnya.

Selanjutnya sambutan Ketua KONI Sumatera Utara. Ia mengatakan PORKAB merupakan amanah organisasi yang harus dijalankan karena ini merupakan ajang menjaring atlet-atlet untuk mempersiapkan atlet PON Sumut- Aceh tahun 2024.

” Saya yakin Langkat menjadi 3 besar atlet terbanyak untuk pelaksanaan PON dan saya yakin Langkat bisa menyumbangkan medali emas untuk PON 2024,” ucapnya.

“Seorang atlit adalah kesatria, siap menang siap juga menerima kekalahan. Junjung tinggi sportifitas anggap kekalahan nanti merupakan kemenangan yang tertunda. Terus berlatih agar kalian suatu saat bisa mengibarkan bendera merah putih tingkat internasional,” pesannya menambahkan.

Selanjut, Plt Bupati Langkat H. Syah Afandin, SH mengatakan PORKAB merupakan hal penting karena ini merupakan ajang pembinaan sekaligus melihat prestasi untuk para atlet di kabupaten Langkat.

” Yang jadi juara nantinya bisa kita rekomendasi untuk tingkat yang lebih tinggi lagi. Seluruh cabang olahraga merupakan seleksi awal dari kabupaten lalu ke provinsi dan nasional. Junjung tinggi sportifitas jangan menghalalkan segala cara untuk menang,” terangnya.

“Apresiasi saya kepada KONI Langkat yang benar benar cinta olahraga dan menjadikan nama Langkat menjadi besar. Tidak sedikit atlit Langkat yang sudah berprestasi ditingkat nasional berkat bimbingan KONI Langkat,” ucap Plt. Bupati Langkat.

Ia atas nama pemerintah kabupaten Langkat berterimakasih kita berharap dari sini muncul atlit yang membawa nama Langkat untuk tingkat nasional.

Selanjutnya Plt. Bupati Langkat H. Syah Afandin, SH membuka PORKAB Langkat tahun 2023 dengan mengucap bismillahirrahmanirrahim PORKAB Kabupaten Langkat Tahun 2023 dengan resmi saya nyatakan dibuka, sembari memukul Gong.
