Rabol.id–Langkat: Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Bupati Langkat H Syah Afandin SH hadiri lomba sampan tradisional KNPI Teluk Aru dalam rangkah HUT ke 77 Republik Indonesia memperebutkan piala Ketua DPD KNPI Langkat, di Dermaga Pangkalan Brandan, Langkat, Sabtu (20/8/2022).
Ketua DPD KNPI Langkat H Rizky Yunanda Sitepu STP MP menyampaikan perlombaan ini diikuti 36 peserta. Hadiah untuk juara 1 mendapatkan Rp5 juta, juara 2 mendapatkan Rp3 juta, juara 3 mendapatkan Rp2 juta, dan harapan 1 mendapatkan Rp1,1 juta.
Sedangkan bagi peserta yang tidak menang mendapatkan beras 5 kilogram.
Sementara Ketua KNPI Sumut El Adrian Shah SE mengapresiasi terlaksananya perlombaan tersebut.
Ia berharap kedepannya perlomban ini menjadikan agenda tahunan yang akan di selenggarakan lebih besar lagi, dan ketegori perlombaannya ditambah.
Sedangkan Plt Bupati Langkat turut memberikan apresiasi kepada Ketua DPD KNPI Langkat dan KNPI wilayah Teluk Aru.
Ia mengajak semua pihak menjadikan momentum HUT ke 77 RI sebagai semangat membangun persatuan dan kesatuan menuju kejayaan bangsa, dengan saling memberi prestasi terbaik tanpa harus merendahkan pihak lain.
“Marilah melalui kegiatan lomba sampan tradisional, kita tingkatkan kedekatkan pemuda dengan masyarakat, serta saling menguatkan hubungan antara organisasi kepemudaan yang ada,” ajaknya.
Wakil Gubernur Sumatera Utara H Musa Rajekshah SSos MHum turut hadir. Ia menilai lomba sampan di Pangkalan Brandan ini turut menjadi ajang silaturahim antara pejabat pemerintah dengan pemuda dan masyarakat sehingga semakin dekat.
Semoga acara ini berjalan lancar dan dapat menjadi tontonan yang menyenangkan bagi masyarakat. Ia pun menambahkan 5 kilogram beras kepada seluruh peserta lomba sampan tradisional itu.
