Rabol.id–Langkat: Plt Bupati Langkat H. Syah Afandin, SH menerima audiensi dari Atlet PON Softball Kabupaten Langkat bertempat di Rumah Dinas Bupati Langkat, Kamis (15/02/2024)
Audensi ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan dan mengenalkan atlet dan pelatih Softball dari Kabupaten Langkat yang akan berlaga pada PON Aceh-Sumut 2024. Terdapat 3 atlet dan 1 pelatih dari Kabupaten Langkat untuk Baseball dan softball Sumut
Pelatih Softball Sumut Hasan Ratumanu dalam audiensi tersebut menyampaikan bahwa Kabupaten Langkat punya potensi
” Kami putra-putri daerah Kabupaten Langkat yang akan berlaga untuk PON membawa nama Sumut. Kami ingin memberikan informasi bahwa Langkat punya potensi dalam Cabor softball, hari ini kami membuktikan bahwasanya atlet softball Sumut banyak diisi oleh putra-putri Kabupaten Langkat” ucapnya
” Kami hadir disini membutuhkan wejangan dan nasehat untuk memajukan softball di Kabupaten Langkat dari bapak Plt Bupati Langkat” tambahnya
Kepala Desa Pematang serai Sugimin dalam audensi tersebut ingin membantu memberikan yang terbaik untuk softball Kabupaten Langkat
” Pelatih Softball ini merupakan tetangga saya, sayang kalau kita punya pelatih dan atlet tingkat nasional tetapi tidak kita kembangkan”
” Jadi saya berinisiatif untuk memanfaatkan lapangan bola non fungsi yang ada didesa saya untuk dijadikan basecamp sekaligus pusat pelatihan softball untuk Kabupaten Langkat. Sehingga nantinya bakat bakat yang ada akan berkembang jika telah memiliki wadah” ucap Kades Pematang serai
Plt Bupati Langkat H. Syah Afandin selaku juga ketua KONI Kabupaten Langkat menyambut baik inisiatif tersebut
” Terimakasih atas audensi ini, ini merupakan prestasi yang luar biasa. Langkah pertama yang saya akan lakukan yaitu membentuk Pengcab
softball lewat KONI, karena semua sudah lengkap jadi tinggal persyaratan administrasi saja. Kami akan mempercepat proses ini” ucapnya
” Jika sudah terbentuk pengcab untuk Softball, setelah itu baru kita bicarakan apa fasilitas yang kalian butuhkan. Saya pasti support dan mendukung apalagi ini untuk kemajuan olahraga Kabupaten Langkat” tambahnya
” Selama proses ini dibuat, anak anak kita terus berlatih, genjot terus agar tercapai prestasi yang kalian inginkan. Semoga nantinya atlet Kabupaten Langkat yang membawa nama Sumut untuk PON Aceh-Sumut 2024 dapat memberikan yang terbaik untuk Langkat dan Sumatera Utara” harapnya
