Rabol.id–Langkat: Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia, Pj Bupati Langkat H. M. Faisal Hasrimy, AP., M.AP didampingi Pj Ketua PKK Kabupaten Langkat Ny. Uke Retno Faisal Hasrimy menanam 11.000 pohon mangrove di Kecamatan Brandan Barat.

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Pangkalan Batu Kecamatan Brandan Barat pada Rabu, (5/6/2023) pagi. Dalam kegiatan ini sekaligus pemberian bibit mangrove kepada Kelompok tani mangrove di Kecamatan Brandan Barat.
Pj Bupati Langkat Faisal Hasrimy sampaikan rasa bangganya atas kecintaan masyarakat Brandan Barat terhadap alam.
“Hari ini begitu meriah dan ramainya, ini membuktikan masyarakat Brandan Barat cinta hutan mangrove” ucapnya.
Fathan Nur,S.Sos selaku Camat Brandan Barat menyampaikan bahwa dirinya atas nama masyarakat Kecamatan Brandan Barat  berterimakasih kepada Pj Bupati Langkat atas menyisihkan waktunya untuk berhadir. “Ini yang kami idam idamkan  kehadiran Pj Bupati Langkat ke Brandan Barat”, ucapnya.
“Kami dari kelurahan, desa dan kecamatan akan guyub bergotong royong untuk menjalankan program Bubur Pedas untuk keberlangsungan pembangunan Kabupaten Langkat yang lebih baik” tegasnya.
Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Muhammad Harmain, S.STP menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan ini rutin dilaksanakan setiap tahun sebagai upaya melestarikan hutan mangrove.
Di lubuk kertang ini pada 31 Juli 2023, lebih dari 100 dapur arang sudah di berantas, jadi perlu perbaikan untuk hutan mangrove. Ia juga menjelaskan di Kabupaten Langkat ada 9 kecamatan khusus dikawasan pesisir. Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Langkat akan terus membina petani mangrove untuk pemulihan hutan mangrove.
“Kamu akan terus membina kelompok petani mangrove di Kecamatan lainnya, sehingga hutan mangrove bisa lestari kembali dan menjadi nilai ekonomi untuk masyarakat sekitar” ucap Harmain.
Pj Bupati Langkat Faisal Hasrimy sampaikan kehadiran semua elemen di lubuk kertang Kelurahan Pangkalan Batu membuktikan kecintaan kita kepada lingkungan.
“Kami berharap peran serta masyarakat dalam menjaga, mengawasi keberlangsungan hutan mangrove. Masyarakat menjadi garda terdepan untuk menjaganya”ucap Hasrimy.
“Karena sekarang ada nilai ekonomi berupa insentif kepada kelompok tani hutan mangrove dari pemerintah pusat”, tegas Pj Bupati Langkat
Pj Bupati Langkat Faisal Hasrimy juga meminta kepada Camat, Lurah, Kades, Danramil dan Kapolsek untuk bersama sama mengedukasi masyarakat, bahwa dengan menjaga dan memperbaiki hutan mangrove ada keuntungan ekonomi didalamnya.
Selanjutnya penanaman mangrove oleh Pj Bupati Langkat, Pj Ketua PKK Kabupaten Langkat, Dandim 0203/Lkt, Kadis Lingkungan Hidup Langkat, Batalion Infantri 8 Marinir, Kadis Sosial Kab. Langkat, Camat Brandan Barat, Danramil Kec. Brandan Barat, Kapolsek Brandan Barat, Lurah Pangkalan Batu, Tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama.
Setelahnya, Pj Bupati Langkat beserta rombongan meninjau jembatan putus penghubung antara kelurahan Pangkalan Batu dan Desa Lubuk Kertang
Pj Bupati Langkat Faisal Hasrimy berkomitmen kepada masyarakat untuk segera mencarikan solusi atas permasalahan tersebut.(dave)
