Faisal Hasrimy, AP., M.AP., meresmikan “Rumah Kolaborasi Disabilitas Langkat” dalam acara sosialisasi yang berlangsung pada Rabu (11/9/2024) di Kantor Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Langkat, Stabat. Peluncuran ini merupakan langkah nyata pemerintah Kabupaten Langkat dalam mendukung dan melindungi hak penyandang disabilitas.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari proyek perubahan PKN Tingkat II Angkatan XI BPSDM Provinsi Sumatera Utara tahun 2024, yang diprakarsai oleh Kepala Dinas Sosial Langkat, M. Taufiq Rieza, S.STP., M.AP. Rumah Kolaborasi Disabilitas ini hadir sebagai bukti komitmen pemerintah dalam melindungi serta memenuhi hak penyandang disabilitas sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah Nomor 2 Tahun 2024 tentang perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak penyandang disabilitas di Kabupaten Langkat.
Dalam sambutannya, Pj Bupati Langkat Faisal Hasrimy mengapresiasi inisiatif ini sebagai langkah penting dalam memperjuangkan hak-hak disabilitas di daerah. Ia juga mengingatkan bahwa kesetaraan dan pemenuhan hak penyandang disabilitas adalah bagian dari hak asasi manusia, bukan semata-mata tindakan karena rasa iba.
“Perlindungan dan pemenuhan hak bagi penyandang disabilitas bukanlah sekadar karena ketidaksempurnaan, tetapi merupakan prinsip kesetaraan dalam hak asasi manusia. Saya berharap program ini terus berlanjut dan tidak berhenti di sini,” tegas Faisal Hasrimy.
Bupati juga mengajak para penyandang disabilitas untuk terus bangkit dan tidak merasa rendah diri. Dalam kesempatan itu, ia menaruh harapan agar Rumah Kolaborasi Disabilitas ini dapat menjadi tempat yang aman dan nyaman untuk pengembangan potensi para penyandang disabilitas di Langkat.
Ketua DPRD Langkat, Sribana Perangin Angin, S.E., turut menyampaikan apresiasi terhadap inisiatif ini. “Kami dari DPRD sangat mendukung kegiatan ini sebagai implementasi dari Perda inisiatif yang telah kami keluarkan. Harapannya, Rumah Kolaborasi ini bisa menjadi pusat pemberdayaan disabilitas di Langkat,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Sosial Langkat, M. Taufiq Rieza, dalam sambutannya menjelaskan bahwa Rumah Kolaborasi Disabilitas Langkat akan menjadi wadah untuk pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas. Ia juga berharap seluruh pemangku kepentingan bisa berkolaborasi dalam mendukung program-program yang berpihak kepada kepentingan penyandang disabilitas.
Dalam acara tersebut, hadir juga Anggi Wahyuda, seorang penyandang disabilitas asal Langkat yang sukses sebagai komika jebolan Stand Up Comedy Academy. Kehadirannya membawa motivasi bagi para penyandang disabilitas yang hadir, dengan pesan untuk selalu bangkit dari keterpurukan dan mencapai kesuksesan.
Turut hadir dalam acara ini, Ketua DPRD Langkat Sribana Perangin Angin, S.E., beberapa kepala dinas, serta perwakilan dari organisasi masyarakat dan lembaga terkait. Para tamu undangan sebagian besar adalah penyandang disabilitas yang menyambut baik peluncuran Rumah Kolaborasi ini sebagai langkah signifikan dalam memperjuangkan hak dan pemberdayaan mereka di Kabupaten Langkat.(dave)
