rabol.id – Stabat,Langkat: Dalam upaya membangun budaya literasi di Kabupaten Langkat, Pj. Bupati Langkat H. M. Faisal Hasrimy, AP., M.AP secara resmi melantik dan mengukuhkan Bunda Literasi Kabupaten Langkat, Ny. Uke Retno Faisal Hasrimy, pada Jumat (4/10/2024) di Pendopo Jentera Malay, Rumah Dinas Bupati Langkat, Stabat.
Pengukuhan ini dilakukan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Kabupaten Langkat Nomor 040-41/K/2024 tanggal 24 September 2024. Bunda Literasi Langkat diharapkan dapat menjadi penggerak utama dalam menumbuhkan minat baca di kalangan anak-anak dan generasi muda Kabupaten Langkat.
Dalam sambutannya, Pj. Bupati Faisal Hasrimy menegaskan pentingnya peran Bunda Literasi dalam mendorong semangat membaca sejak dini. Ia menyampaikan harapannya agar program-program literasi yang menyentuh berbagai lapisan masyarakat dapat segera dilaksanakan, terutama yang menargetkan anak-anak di jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah.
“Kami berharap, Bunda Literasi dapat memimpin gerakan untuk menumbuhkan minat baca anak-anak di Langkat. Salah satu cara efektif adalah dengan mengadakan berbagai perlombaan, seperti lomba puisi, pidato, dan kegiatan literasi lainnya, untuk siswa SD dan SMP di seluruh Kabupaten Langkat,” ujar Faisal.
Lebih lanjut, Pj. Bupati juga mengungkapkan keyakinannya terhadap kemampuan Uke Retno Faisal Hasrimy sebagai Bunda Literasi. Menurutnya, sosok Uke Retno memiliki semangat yang kuat untuk memajukan gerakan literasi dan membawa dampak positif bagi perkembangan pendidikan di Langkat.
“Saya yakin beliau mampu memimpin berbagai inisiatif dan program literasi untuk meningkatkan minat baca, memperluas akses terhadap sumber belajar, serta menggalakkan budaya literasi di setiap lapisan masyarakat,” tambahnya.
Atas nama Pemerintah Kabupaten Langkat, Faisal Hasrimy menyampaikan ucapan selamat kepada Uke Retno yang telah resmi dikukuhkan sebagai Bunda Literasi Langkat. Ia berharap pengukuhan ini menjadi awal bagi gerakan literasi yang lebih masif dan membawa kontribusi besar bagi pembangunan generasi yang lebih cerdas, kreatif, dan berdaya saing.
“Dengan dilakukannya pengukuhan ini, saya yakin Ibu Uke Retno mampu menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik, serta memberikan kontribusi besar dalam membangun masyarakat Langkat yang literat,” tutupnya.
Pengukuhan Bunda Literasi ini menjadi salah satu langkah strategis Pemerintah Kabupaten Langkat dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, dengan mengedepankan budaya literasi sebagai pondasi penting bagi generasi mendatang.(dave)
