rabol.id – Langkat: Penjabat Bupati Langkat, H. M. Faisal Hasrimy, AP., M.AP, resmi meluncurkan program sekolah percontohan atau unggulan tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) se-Kabupaten Langkat. Acara peresmian berlangsung di SMP Negeri 1 Kecamatan Binjai, Kamis (19/12/2024).
Sebanyak 46 SD dan 3 SMP ditetapkan sebagai sekolah percontohan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Langkat Nomor 400.3.4.5/4747/DISDIK/2024, tertanggal 17 Desember 2024.
Dalam sambutannya, Pj Bupati Langkat menyampaikan bahwa peluncuran ini merupakan komitmen pemerintah daerah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, baik dari segi fasilitas, tenaga pendidik, maupun sistem pembelajaran.
“Langkah ini merupakan bukti nyata Kabupaten Langkat mendukung delapan misi Asta Cita Presiden Republik Indonesia, Bapak H. Prabowo Subianto, khususnya pada poin keempat yang berfokus pada pembangunan sumber daya manusia, sains, teknologi, pendidikan, kesehatan, olahraga, kesetaraan gender, dan penyandang disabilitas,” ujar Faisal Hasrimy.
Ia juga menambahkan bahwa program ini sejalan dengan 17 program prioritas nasional, termasuk penguatan pendidikan, sains, teknologi, dan digitalisasi.
“Program ini juga menjadi langkah strategis menuju pencapaian visi jangka menengah 2025-2029 sesuai RPJMN Presiden dan Wakil Presiden RI, yakni ‘Bersama Indonesia Maju Menuju Indonesia Emas 2045,’” tegasnya.
Pj Bupati Langkat berharap, sekolah percontohan ini dapat menjadi teladan bagi institusi pendidikan lainnya dalam pengelolaan, inovasi, dan peningkatan mutu pengajaran.
“Semoga program ini mencetak generasi emas yang cerdas, unggul, kompeten, dan berdaya saing, sehingga membawa Langkat semakin maju,” harapnya.
Peluncuran program ini ditandai dengan pelepasan balon oleh Pj Bupati Langkat, yang secara simbolis meresmikan sekolah unggulan SD dan SMP Kabupaten Langkat.
“Dengan mengucap bismillahirrahmanirrahim, sekolah unggulan SD dan SMP Kabupaten Langkat 2024 secara resmi saya launching,” tutup Faisal Hasrimy penuh optimisme.
Pada kesempatan itu Pj. Bupati didampingi Kadis Pendidikan DR. H. Saiful Abdi, SH, SE, M.Pd meninjau pembelajaran menggunakan Smartboard sekaligus meninjau menu makanan siang bergizi gratis di SD Negeri 050660 dan SMP N 1 Kec. Binjai. Menu makan siang yang disediakan berupa Telur, tahu dan tempe, sayur dan buah-buahan. Makan siang disediakan oleh pihak sekolah.
Pj. Bupati Langkat menekankan agar segera mengundang Dinas Kesehatan untuk mengecek gizi serta higienisnya.
“Kita masih terus mencari pola untuk benar benar menyiapkan makanan terbaik untuk anak anak kita,” ucapnya.(wiwik)
