rabol.id – Langkat: Plt Bupati Langkat H.Syah Afandin,SH hadir membuka kegiatan Perkemahan Siaga Bencana Saka Bahari Kwartir Cabang Langkat, bertempat di Bataliyon Infanteri 8 Harimau Putih, Kecamatab Sei Lepan, Langkat, Jum’at 15 September 2023.
Kegiatan perkemahan siaga bencana Saka Bahari Kwartir Cabang Langkat mengusung tema “Peran Pemuda sebagai pelopor siaga bencana” dengan  Moto “Satya Ku Darma Kan, Darma Ku Baktikan.
Tujuan di selenggarakannya kegiatan ini membentuk karakter mental dan spiritual melalui Pramuka penegak putra dan putri melalui SAKA BAHARI KWARTIR CABANG LANGKAT, yang di disiplin, berani, tangguh dalam menghadapi tantangan hidup.
Dimana peserta perkemahan berjumlah 177 Orang Putra, 200 Orang Putri, 28 Orang Pembina Putra dan 18 Orang Pembina Putri dengan Total 520  Orang peserta.
Plt.Bupati Langkat H.Syah Afandin, SH menyampaikan kegiatan perkemahan ini merupakan bagian dan bentuk nyata yang dikemas agar menjadi tonggak pendidikan mental dan karakter.
Melalui kemasan yang lebih aktif dan kreatif perkemahan ini dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari pembinaan kepada generasi bagian dari pembinaan kepada generasi bangsa dalam menghadapi situasi apabila terjadi bencana.
Sebab bencana bisa datang kapan saja dan di mana saja oleh karenanya diharapkan para generasi kita akan selalu anggap atas segala situasi yang dihadapi dan salah satunya adalah dengan sikap terhadap terjadinya bencana.
Selain itu, lanjut Afandin, perkemahan ini juga bertujuan untuk mengokohkan kebersamaan serta untuk memelihara kebersamaan serta untuk memelihara dan meningkatkan kemampuan teknis taktis maupun kerjasama dengan harapan setiap individu dapat bertanggung jawab atas tugas masing-masing secara baik dan benar.
Sehingga akan semakin meningkatkan kualitas Kemampuan sebagai anggota Saka Bahari dalam mendukung keberhasilan dalam melaksanakan tugas khusus pada saat terjadinya bencana.
“Saya sangat mengapresiasi dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini dan berharap menjadi solusi terhadap pembinaan generasi muda khususnya pada usia sekolah, yang tentunya menjadi masa produktif bagi generasi kita untuk menerima segala pembelajaran dan pembinaan yang diberikan,” ujarnya.
“Harapan saya semoga kegiatan ini mencapai sasarannya dan menghasilkan sosok pribadi yang memiliki ketangguhan dan keterampilan sebagai bagian yang tak terpisahkan dalam kehidupan kita di era sekarang ini yang nantinya dapat bermanfaat bagi seluruh masyarakat secara luas,” tambahnya.
Afandin juga berpesan kepada seluruh pihak yang terlibat dalam perkemahan ini untuk selalu memperhatikan faktor-faktor dalam penyelenggaraan perkemahan ini dan salah satunya faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan adalah faktor keselamatan selama kegiatan ini berlangsung.
“Saya ucapkan selamat mengikuti kegiatan ini kiranya saya tetap mendoakan agar semua sehat dan dapat mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan acara perkemahan dengan baik dalam pelaksanaannya,” pesannya.

Ia berpesan kepada adik-adik agar melaksanakan kegiatan dengan baik, materi apapun yang  di berikan kepada pembina untuk dapat di serap dan di pelajari secara serius karena itu menjadi bekal bagi kalian.
