Uke Retno Wahyuni Faisal Hasrimy, menghadiri acara peluncuran Galeri Kreasi Sumatera Utara yang digagas oleh Dekranasda Provinsi Sumut, Kamis (5/9/2024) sore, di Kota Medan. Acara ini disambut dengan antusias oleh berbagai pihak, terutama karena Galeri Kreasi Sumut merupakan inovasi pertama di Indonesia dalam bidang galeri kerajinan.
Dalam sambutannya, Pj Gubernur Sumatera Utara, Dr. Dra. A. Fatoni, M.Si, memberikan apresiasi besar terhadap terobosan yang dilakukan oleh Dekranasda Sumut. “Saya berikan apresiasi kepada Dekranasda Sumatera Utara yang telah menggagas Galeri Kreasi ini. Ini adalah inovasi pertama di Indonesia. Galeri ini akan menjadi pusat aktivitas dan kegiatan para perajin kerajinan di Sumut. Tidak hanya di sini, kita juga telah membuka cabang galeri ini di Bandara Kualanamu, tepatnya di dekat pintu keberangkatan, untuk memperkenalkan hasil karya kita kepada dunia,” ungkapnya.
Lebih lanjut, Pj Gubernur Sumut menekankan pentingnya galeri ini sebagai pusat aktivitas, tempat berkumpul, dan juga area belanja yang nyaman bagi masyarakat. “Mari kita jadikan galeri ini sebagai pusat aktivitas, tempat kita berbelanja sambil duduk dengan teman-teman dan sahabat-sahabat kita. Saya sampaikan kepada Dekranasda Sumut, buatlah galeri ini nyaman dengan fasilitas yang bagus. Dengan demikian, saya resmikan Galeri Kreasi Sumatera Utara,” ujarnya saat meresmikan galeri tersebut.
Ny. Uke Retno Wahyuni Faisal Hasrimy, sebagai Pj Ketua Dekranasda Kabupaten Langkat, turut mengungkapkan rasa bangganya atas kehadiran Galeri Kreasi ini. “Alhamdulillah, di Sumut sudah ada Galeri Kreasi. Seperti yang disampaikan oleh Pj Gubernur Sumatera Utara, ini merupakan inovasi pertama di Indonesia. Saya sangat mengapresiasi kerja keras dan dedikasi dari Dekranasda Provinsi Sumut untuk mewujudkan galeri ini. Ini adalah langkah maju bagi pengembangan kerajinan di Sumatera Utara,” ucapnya.
Setelah acara peresmian, Pj Gubernur Sumut beserta jajaran Dekranasda, termasuk Ny. Uke Retno Wahyuni Faisal Hasrimy, melakukan peninjauan langsung ke dalam Galeri Kreasi Sumut. Mereka melihat berbagai produk kerajinan yang dipamerkan, mulai dari anyaman, ukiran, hingga kain tenun khas daerah. Ny. Uke Retno sangat terkesan dengan keberagaman dan kualitas kerajinan yang dipajang di galeri tersebut.
“Ini adalah kesempatan besar bagi para perajin di Sumut untuk menampilkan karya mereka di panggung yang lebih besar. Dengan adanya galeri ini, kita tidak hanya mempromosikan produk lokal, tetapi juga memberdayakan ekonomi kreatif di daerah kita,” tambah Ny. Uke Retno.
Galeri Kreasi Sumut diharapkan dapat menjadi pusat kreativitas dan inovasi yang terus berkembang, sekaligus menjadi destinasi wajib bagi wisatawan yang ingin menikmati dan membeli produk-produk kerajinan asli Sumatera Utara. Dengan adanya galeri ini, diharapkan kerajinan lokal dapat lebih dikenal, tidak hanya di dalam negeri, tetapi juga di kancah internasional.
Peninjauan tersebut juga membuka diskusi mengenai peluang kolaborasi antara Dekranasda kabupaten/kota se-Sumatera Utara untuk terus mengembangkan dan memajukan sektor kerajinan di daerah masing-masing.(dave)
