Plt Bupati Langkat di dampingi para kepala perangkat daerah sambut oleh Camat Sirapit Muliani Br.Sembiring,S.Sos dan Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Langkat Edi Bahagia Sinuraya,S.IP dengan pengalungan bunga melati di iringi tari persembahan karo majuah – juah sebagai tanda penghormatan.
Digiat itu dilaksanakan deklarasi pernyataan sikap oleh 10 Kepala Desa se-Kecamatan Sirapit yang di bacakan oleh Ketua Apdesi Kecamatan Sirapit Edi Antoni Sinuraya, menyampaikan bahwa :
1.Kami masyarakat 10 Desa se-Kecamatan Sirapit siap mendukung Bapak H. Syah Afandin SH menjadi Bupati Langkat periode 2024-2029.
2.Demikian surat pernyataan sikap ini kami buat dengan sebenarnya tanpa ada paksaan dari manapun.
Ucapan selamat datang dari Camat Sirapit Muliani Br.Sembiring,S.Sos di dampingi oleh para kepala desa se-kecamatan sirapit menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini di laksanakan dalam rangka menyambut hari kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia ke-78 yakni sebuah kegiatan karnaval di Kecamatan Sirapit.
“Untuk diketahui kita semua mungkin kegiatan ini yang perdana dilaksanakan di kecamatan Sirapit dalam bentuk karnaval. Jadi mohon izin Bapak Plt Bupati dan seluruh OPD yang hadir mungkin masih seperti inilah keadaannya masih banyak yang perlu kami perbaiki,” sebutnya.
Adapun peserta pawai karnaval sebanyak 1.300 orang dari 10 Desa Se-Kecamatan Sirapit dengan rute star dari depan kantor camat sirapit menuju depan kantor BRI Desa Tanjung Keriahan, setiap peserta mendapatkan 1 kupon undian berhadiah dorpize menarik.
“Terlaksananya kegiatan ini adalah berkat dari dukungan dan kerjasama 10 kepala desa se-kecamatan sirapit dan para donatur guna memeriahkan acara ini,” sebut Muliani.
“Kami masyarakat kecamatan Sirapit mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada Plt Bupati Langkat Bapak H.Syah Afandin SH, kami tau dengan kesibukannya beliau yang sangat padat beliau hadir bersama kita karena kecintaan beliau kepada masyarakatnya dan ingin berjumpa dan bertatap langsung dan menyapa masyarakat,” tambahnya.
Sementara, Plt Bupati Langkat H.Syah Afandin SH atas nama pribadi dan pemerintahan mengapresiasi atas terlaksananya karnaval dalam rangka memperingati HUT RI ke 78.
“Peringatan 17 Agustus ini sebenarnya pada prinsipnya untuk kita mensyukuri kemerdekaan itu, yang berhak paling hak untuk mensyukuri kemerdekaan itu adalah rakyat Indonesia dan khususnya masyarakat yang ada di sirapit dalam memeriahkan HUT RI ke 78,” sebutnya,
“Sebagai pemimpin saya ikut berbahagia artinya apa kita bisa senang dan bahagia bila masyarakat saya bahagia, walaupun dengan acara yang buk camat seluruh kepala desa se-kecamatan sirapit buat yaitu membuat rakyat senang bisa menghimpun dan menjalankan tanggung jawabnya sebagai pemimpin yang bisa membuat masyarakat senang,” tambahnya.
Afandin pun berharap dengan kegiatan seperti ini menjaga jangan terjadi perpecahan karena sebagai jalinan silaturahmi dengan sesama masyarakat kecamatan Sirapit untuk terus menguatkan persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa serta kondusifitas di kabupaten Langkat.
“Mudah-mudahan apa yang kita lakukan ini membuat kebaikan dan membuat kebahagiaan untuk masyarakat,” ujarnya.
“Terus jaga persatuan dan kesatuan agar bangsa Indonesia tetap utuh karena perjuangan kita masih panjang jadikan masing-masing diri kita pribadi yang senantiasa bersyukur atas apa yang telah berhasil kita raih bersama di mana 78 tahun telah terbebas dari perjalanan dan hidup dalam kemerdekaan,” jelasnya menambahkan.
Pada kesempatan ini Plt Bupati Langkat menambahkan hadiah dorpize bagi peserta karnaval sebesar Rp 6.000.000 dari dana pribadi beliau, dibagi menjadi 3 nomor undian yang beruntung yaitu :
