Rabol.id–Langkat: Plt Bupati Langkat H.Syah Afandin SH ikuti Rakor Lintas Sektoral dan Deklarasi Pemilu Damai Operasi Mantap Brata Toba 2023-2024, bertempat di Aula Bhardaksha Polres Langkat Stabat, Senin 16 Oktober 2023.
Pembacaan dan penandatanganan deklarasi damai di lakukan pada kegiatan ini untuk menciptakan pemilu 2024, agar terciptanya pemilu yang aman dan damai.
Plt.Bupati Langkat H.Syah Afandin SH menegaskan Pemerintah Kabupaten Langkat memberikan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya kepada bapak Kapolres yang sudah melakukan inisiatif untuk melakukan rapat koordinasi lintas sektoral operasi Mantap Brata Toba 2023- 2024 sekaligus deklarasi Pemilu damai di Kabupaten Langkat.
“Secara keamanan sudah disampaikan, sebenarnya ini hal yang rutin per 5 tahun, kalau kita bicara kita lihat situasi paling hangat itu setelah reformasi di Pemilu awal tapi alhamdulillah Langkat ini bisa melewatinya dengan adem-adem saja,” sebut Syah Afandin.
“Saya yakin dan insya Allah ke depan juga dapat berjalan lancar di kabupaten Langkat. Biasanya terjadi keributan saya lihat kurangnya kordinasi antara kita, bukan lagi antar partai politik melainkan bentrok yang terjadi antara satu partai untuk memperebutkan suara yang di harap,” jelasnya.
Dirinya pun berharap penuh dengan pimpinan partai politik yang ada di Kabupaten Langkat untuk saling menjaga identitas kalau sudah melihat ada indikasi gesekan-gesekan baik secara internal maupun antar parpol mari sama-sama di bicarakan terkait dengan keamanan.
Kapolres Langkat AKBP Faisal Rahmad Husein Simatupang S.I.K, SH, MH menyampaikan secara pribadi demikian juga unsur forkopimda merasa sangat bahagia karena bisa berkumpul bersama-sama khususnya dengan rekan-rekan kita para pimpinan parpol.
“Karena beliau-beliau ini adalah calon-calon pemimpin bangsa kita ke depan, di mana sebentar lagi kita akan menghadapi perhelatan pemilu, yaitu pemilihan presiden wakil presiden dan juga legislatif mulai dari pusat sampai dengan tingkat II Kabupaten Langkat,” ujarnya.
Dalam menghadapi kegiatan tersebut perlu Kapolres Langkat melaporkan bahwa sejauh ini Polres Langkat sudah melakukan berbagai upaya-upaya dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang sifatnya kita ingin menjamin bahwa pelaksanaan Pemilu kita pada 2023 sampai dengan 2024 ini bisa berjalan lancar aman dan terkendali.
“Karena sejatinya Pemilu ini justru adalah dilakukan untuk menjamin keberlangsungan kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara Indonesia, sehingga harapan kita pelaksanaan Pemilu ke depan khususnya di kabupaten Langkat juga bisa menjamin keberlanjutan kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara khususnya di kabupaten Langkat,” sebutnya.
“Hari ini juga kita melaksanakan deklarasi Pemilu damai, bahwa kita melaksanakan deklarasi ini bukan berarti Pemilu kita akan tidak dapat berjalan damai, khususnya di kabupaten Langkat mudah-mudahan Insya Allah Pemilu akan berjalan dengan damai, dengan aman,” harapnya.
Dandim 0203/ Langkat Letkol Inf Eko Prasetyo melaporkan bahwa pihak sudah mendapat perintah dari Kodam untuk dapat mengkoordinir seluruh kemampuan TNI yang ada di wilayah Kabupaten Langkat dalam rangka mengamankan Pemilu tahun 2024.
“Kami jangan dipandang hanya beberapa orangnya, tetapi kami juga di sini kekuatan militer baik itu dari Kodim dan Bataliyon-bataliyon yang ada serta bantuan dari kodam apabila situasi tidak memungkinkan lagi ataupun terjadi sesuatu yang tidak kita inginkan pada saat pemilu,” tegasnya.
Akan tetapi Ini semua bukan berdasarkan angka yang kita butuhkan di sini, lanjut Letkol Inf Eko Prasetyo, karena dalam menjamin terlaksananya keamanan Pemilu tahun 2024 ini pihak diperintahkan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang kesadaran.
“Mengapa kita harus menjaga keamanan karena sebetulnya apapun yang terjadi itu bukan kegagalan dari petugas-petugas keamanan, akan tetapi juga ada di situ peran sertanya para peserta pemilu ini bagaimana bisa mengendalikan, bagaimana bisa mengikuti pemilu di 2024 dengan aman,” pungkasnya.
