Tiba di Rumah Duka, Syah Afandin Sampaikan Permohonan Maaf Almarhum Dato’ Sri Syamsul Arifin
rabol.id – Medan: Plt Bupati Langkat H.Syah Afandin, SH mendampingi jenazah Almarhum Dato’ Sri H.Syamsul Arifin, SE hingga tiba dirumah duka pada selasa (17/10/2023) pukul 23:55 WIB di jalan Sukadarma, Kecamatan Medan Johor, Kota Medan.
Almarhum Dato’ Seri H.Syamsul Arifin, SE menghembuskan nafas terakhirnya pada usia 71 tahun di RSPAD Gator Subroto Jakarta, selasa 17 Oktober 2023 pukul 12:45 WIB.
Malam itu Pj Gubernur Sumut Hassanudin, Wali Kota Medan Bobby Nasution, Bupati Batu Bara H Zahir, ratusan elemen masyarakat, para pejabat di Sumut, tokoh masyarakat/agama Sumut memadati rumah Almarhum H. Syamsul Arifin, SE untuk bertakziah dan mendoakan almarhum. Ratusan karangan bunga juga berjejer memenuhi jalan menuju rumah almarhum mantan Gubernur Sumatera Utara tersebut.Plt Bupati Langkat H. Syah Afandin, SH menyampaikan “Saya mewakili keluarga memohon maaf apabila ada kesalahan beliau, harapan kita besok dikebumikan di brandan di samping pemakaman orang tua kami, untuk sodara yang belum sempat bertakziah kami harap doa yang terbaik untuk almarhum”. Ujar dan harapannya
Pada hari rabu, 18 Oktober 2023 akan diadakan sholat jenazah dirumah duka di jalan Sukadarma, Kecamatan Medan Johor, Kota Medan pada pukul 07:00 WIB, setelah itu almarhum akan dibawa ke Pangkalan Brandan, Kabupaten Langkat untuk di sholatkan di masjid raya pangkalan brandan, dan di makamkan di Kecamatan Gebang.
Selama hidupnya, Alm. Dato’ Seri H. Syamsul Arifin, SE pernah menjabat sebagai Bupati Langkat periode 1999-2004 dan terpilih kembali pada periode 2004-2008, selanjutnya almarhum menjadi Gubernur Sumatera Utara 2008-2011, Ketua DPD Golkar Sumatera Utara, Mantan Ketua Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia daerah Sumatra Utara, dan Ketua Umum Pengurus Besar Majelis Adat Budaya Melayu Indonesia (MABMI).Turut hadir malam ini dirumah duka Sekretaris Daerah Kab.Langkat H. Amril, S.Sos, M.AP, Kepala BKD Kab. Langkat Eka Syahputra Depari, S.STP, MAP, Kepala dinas Kominfo H. Syahmadi, S.Sos, M.SP, Kepala Bappeda Kab. Langkat Rina Wahyuni Marpaung, S.STP, M.AP, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kab.Langkat dr.Juliana, MM, Kepala Dinas PMD Nuryansyah Putra, M.Si, Kepala Dinas PU Kab.
