Babinsa Koramil 0201-09/Belawan Kodim 0201/Medan, Serka Suseno mengatakan, “kegiatan ini di laksanakan bersama aparat Kelurahan dan warga masyarakat sebagai wujud dari sinegitas dalam bekerja sama bahu membahu dalam mewujudkan wilayah yang bersih.
Dengan adanya gotong-royong ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kesadaran bagi warga agar lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan,merubah kebiasaan buruk warga yang membuang sampah sembarangan, sehingga mampu membentuk karakter masyarakat untuk pola hidup sehat dan bersih.
Kegiatan gotong royong merupakan salah satu cara menumbuhkan rasa kekeluargaan dalam bekerja sama dan sama-sama bekerja dalam menuntaskan sebuah pekerjaaan.Gotong-royong itu sendiri merupakan warisan budaya Bangsa Indonesia, dimana nilai dan perilakunya sudah menjadi pandangan hidup.(wisnu)
